Life Long Passion for most things Audio relating to the enjoyment of Music. Recent focus has been in developing smart digital headphones incorporating adaptive noise canceling and smart features. The Pioneer Rayz is one of those platforms and it utilizes the Adaptive IIR filter I developed from scratch along with other smart features I invented or helped invent. Specialties: Active Noise Reduction Headphones, Audio Systems, High Performance Audio Design, Acoustics, Acoustic Modeling, Acoustic System Design, Transducer Design, Loudspeakers, Analog Electronics, Power Electronics, Digital Signal Processing for Audio, Matlab. What we can hear and what matters in quality audio reproduction is something that I'm rather good at understanding. What makes me tick is doing what hasn't been done before and working with really sharp people who are excited about what they are doing. My Hobby's: The outdoors and enjoying music have been life long passion s for me. More recently tube audio design and grape growing have caught my interest.

* Started doing designs back in 1995 and was instrumental in the starting of Lightspeed Aviation. * Designed all Headsets for Lightspeed and supported production. * Moved to Oregon in 2005 to build an engineering department as VP of Engineering. The new platform called Zulu, transformed the company from a value focused customer base into the premium space and more than doubled the sales over the next few years. * Was replaced as VP of Engineering shortly after the Zulu 2 released (~2012) and was named VP of innovation. * Many patents issued and many still pending.
