• Coordinated with suppliers to address any issues related to part supply and quality • Issued PPAP requirements and reviewed/approved PPAP submissions for all injection-molded parts • Instituted Scientific Molding Techniques and rigorous mold tryout procedures and expectations across the supply base • Worked with a group of 12+ supplier base and internal Gentex tooling, program management, and engineering representatives to resolve part dimensional or functional issues • Set RMT and tool launch metrics and goals across the supply base starting in 2016 and refined these goals, communicating them up to the present

• Collaborated with numerous tooling suppliers to specify, approve and launch automotive interior trim components (pillar trim, door panels, instrument panels) • Using scientific molding techniques launched tools at various North American (Michigan and Canada) facilities for numerous OEM customers • Developed (Patent Granted) unique techniques used to mold behind cover stocks on interior trim components • Collaborated with colleagues and suppliers from Europe, Mexico, Canada and Japan • Provided DFM support to internal Engineering teams on new products

• Developed and launched new injection molding processes for high-volume consumer products (gas-assisted molding, in mold decorating) on several products • Collaborated with several domestic and offshore tooling suppliers to specify, approve and launch dozens of high cavitation, high volume injection mold tools • Supported tool builds onsite at a Kodak facility in Mexico • Trained on the use of scientific molding techniques • Developed (Patent Granted) unique techniques used to mold camera components • Collaborated with colleagues and suppliers from Europe, Mexico, Canada and France • Provided DFM support to internal Engineering teams on new products

• Completed a 1.5-year new hire training program (Engineer in Training) that included 6-month rotations in Plastics Engineering, Product Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering • Received hands-on polymer processing training in injection molding, rotational molding, blow molding, and thermoforming • Gained hands-on experience building and modifying injection mold tools • Designed and launched several new products, including collaboration with local and offshore tooling sources • Developed two new assembly lines to assemble and pack new products at sites in New York State and Mexico
