* Operative handling of transport assignment / material planning / monitoring, in any case * operative management of our suppliers, internal stakeholders and specific supply chain/logistic process * Securing the compliance with regulations, environmental compliance, safety rules in conjunction with the execution of all transports and (intermediate-) warehousing of packaged goods * Interface between our service providers and the Covestro Organisation (Shipping dept., Production, Order Management, Distribution Safety, Procurement and Service Units) * Operative Monitoring and Performance Management to all parties involved in the transport process * Verification of a secure and timely delivery performance to clients of Covestro AG and * Subcompanies within EMEA region * Support for Distribution Safety in achieving common objectives e.g. decrease of transport accidents * Operative Logistics Costs Management incl.
