Capral is Australia’s largest extruder and distributor of aluminium products with five manufacturing sites strategically placed across Australia. Our manufacturing operations run eight aluminium extrusion presses from plants located in Bremer Park (QLD), Penrith (NSW), Campbellfield (VIC), Angaston (SA) and Canning Vale (WA). In addition to aluminium extrusions, we are able to supply powder coating or anodising in a wide range of colours and finishes and perform cutting, punching and CNC machining operations

Architectural Window Systems (AWS) is Australia’s leading supplier of aluminium window and door systems offering an extensive range of locally designed aluminium window and door suites for residential and commercial applications. We provide the market with innovative systems, designed to suit Australian conditions and tested to exceed Australian Standards. We supply to over 100 dedicated and highly trained window and door manufacturers nationwide. As the National Business & Technical manager, I am responsible for providing and implementing business development strategies into AWS. I also integrate new businesses into our preferred fabricator network model which includes aspects of software, estimating and manufacturing.

The Australian Window Association is made up of nearly 600 window manufacturers and industry suppliers throughout Australia. Members of the association have products tested to Australian Standard AS2047. You can be confident that products are made to withstand Australian conditions when purchasing from an AWA member. Don't risk costly replacement of non compliant products that are not suited to Australian conditions. The aims of the AWA are: To promote and advance the awareness of windows as a major architectural component in building design. To establish and self regulate minimum benchmark standards throughout Australia. To facilitate the education and marketing of these standards throughout the industry and wider community. To provide a national voice when representing the industry in discussion and negotiations with government, local authorities, business and trade associations and organisations, and the private sector. To promote and encourage ethical conduct and sound business practice in the industry.  The AWA has established strong links with the window industry in the United States of America, United Kingdom and New Zealand and regularly exchanges information on the latest developments affecting the industry. The AWA is intended to be a co-operative of window manufacturers whereby all members are encouraged to be involved in the decision making process. The AWA operates through a committee system which allows for the views of the smallest manufacturer to be heard. Large Australian window manufacturers have the same voting rights as the smallest. The Association's elected Board of Directors is the AWA's only decision making body and it oversees the Executive Director in the implementation of the Association's objectives. Although there are State representatives on the Board, any Member or Associate Member can at any time liaise directly with the Executive Director or the Board of Directors.
