Mike Marinaro

As Executive Vice President and President of the Medical Surgical Portfolio, Americas, and Global Commercial Operations for Medtronic, I lead our Surgical, Acute Care & Monitoring, and Endoscopy Operating Units as well as enterprise commercial operations for Latin America, Canada, U.S. Enterprise Accounts, and Global Commercial Operations. Collectively, these groups generate more than $18B in annual revenue. I am also a Medtronic Executive Committee member and serve on the Medtronic Foundation Board. Over my 25+ year Medtronic career, I’ve built a reputation as a results-driven leader with a track record of growth and innovation that delivers better patient care. I’ve played a central role advancing surgical and robotics strategy alongside broader investment in AI-powered technologies, including scaling the Hugo™ robotic-assisted surgery ecosystem to expand access to the benefits of minimally invasive surgery. My Medtronic tenure began in the field, representing and then managing U.S. Coronary and Peripheral sales teams, later taking on broader leadership roles across cardiovascular businesses. Under my leadership of the Cardiac Rhythm Management Division, we launched groundbreaking technologies including the Micra™ transcatheter pacing system, created the Aurora EV-ICD™ system, significantly expanded use of the TYRX™ Absorbable Antibacterial Envelope, and accelerated Medtronic growth in China.
