Broad operational knowledge base, action oriented, data driven, and SAP-fluent. Throughout my work history, I have proven myself to be successful at multiple levels within the Plastipak organization. I started directly out of college as a quality analyst/auditor and moved into a supervisory role in the corporate quality laboratory. While supervising the lab technicians, equipment, and work flow, I remained active with the manufacturing sites through auditing and new injection mold qualifications. Later, I was involved with qualifying various pieces of equipment such as injection molders, leak detectors, and labelers. After several years in corporate quality, I moved to the manufacturing site as a quality manager. In that role, the site achieved a 10% reduction of claims and returns for four consecutive years. With my experience and relationships on the injection molding side of the business, I was then asked to manage the injection molding department. In that role I managed a department of thirteen injection molders and thirty-five associates. During my tenure as the production manager, the department had a reduction in accidents, increased reliability, increased overall production, and a reduction in scrap. My current role is the Logistics Manager. I was selected for this position primarily for my success in inventory management when I was the production manager and customer service skills. Since taking this position I have learned more about ERP, transportation, warehousing costs, working capital, and the yearly plant budget. I am action oriented to achieve results. I efficiently use data to solve manufacturing problems. I am a team player that enjoys working with people to meet goals.
