Freelance contributor on a variety of subjects, mainly automotive and luxury goods, comprising around five articles per issue (bimonthly), as briefed by editorial team. Subjects ranged from new car reviews/test drives to fashion and lifestyle pieces. Undertook occasional editorial duties, including the editor's letter and letters page, as and when required. Also briefed to propose, research and contribute on an ad hoc basis. Conceived and art directed several covers, working with photographers, stylists and models.

Art Director from 1999 - 2003 on a range of B2C and B2B accounts, across fashion, financial, automotive, leisure, food and consumer goods. Campaign concepts, scamping, traditional and digital visualising, photographic art direction, copywriting and brand identity. Creative Director from 2003 - 2006, with responsibility for a team of designers and studio staff. Pitching and presentations, campaign strategy, staff appraisals, representing the business externally.

Creative direction on multiple large accounts, predominantly FMCG, automotive and B2B, in a range of disciplines - campaign strategy, concepts/idea generation, copywriting, scamping/storyboards, photographic art direction, film direction, brand identity, illustration, social media. Mentorship of junior creatives and graduates. Pitching and presenting work. Representing the business externally. Briefing and liaising with external suppliers, including photographers, editors, illustrators, stylists and models.

Specialised in illustration in year two, covering editorial and commercial briefs. Studied advertising in final year. Work placement at Springett Associates, London during final year, working on FMCG packaging briefs. Undertook numerous freelance projects during degree course. Played at Quarterback for Aston Rhinos American Football Team, for 3 seasons. Selected to attend GB Uni American Football trials for two successive years.
