Set up new faicility with power,lighting, cooling system, and chilled water closed loop system to accomodate 8 high speed Injection Molding Machines, and the auxilliary equipment for them. Also installed various decoration and assembly equipment required to complete and support the customers requirements. Supervised maintenance operations at three other 8 machine facilities, occasionally as needs arose.

Buyer for all maintenance related and other items. Setting up a live inventory. Also research project items that will work in the applications, but will cost less then OEM prices. work with vendors to obtain a working relationship, and to utilize their skills to assist in decision making.

Work with the Molding Maintenance Supervisor in an effort to identify, organize, and inventory all MRO items in house. Future goal of having all spare parts inventory with min. max levels recorded in a bar code scanning system. Assist the Supervisor with advice and guidance within the scope of my past experience. Coordinate outside sales suppliers activities as to inventory levels that match our needs. Purchase all MRO items for tne molding floor. Interact with OEM suppliers when the need exists. Look for suitable replacement parts from alternative suppliers in a cost effective manner. Track down sources for replacement hydraullic and electronic components that have been obsoleted by the OEMs. Occasionally interact with the other departments in a purchasing capacity when the need arises. Fully optimize the resources available to provide the lowest cost, high quality items for stock that can be found through diligent research. And in my spare time? LOL

Currently provide evaluation, prventative maintenance, repair, and modification to improve, error proofing assembly equipment for the automotive industry. Well versed in pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical, and mechanical repair. Have also spent nine years as an Employee Advocate assisting the employees to get their issues resolved through Magna International's Open Door Process.
