➞ Supporting other SOR manufacturing location in Lenexa, Kansas. ➞Performing all Purchasing and Planning activities for all SOR-Houston product lines: Smart Sensors, Sensor Sampling Systems, and Setex Thermowell Systems. ➞ Placed purchase orders to meet plant demands for variety items including Steel products, MRO items, hydraulics, plastics, and fasteners ➞ Collaborated with engineering, manufacturing, sales, operations, and quality to ensure inventory meet expectations of sales orders and forecasts. ➞ Communicated with engineering to accommodate changes in specifications for products that were modified usually at six months intervals and reviewed ECRs (engineering change request) and NCRs (non- conformance report). ➞ Submitted RFQ bids to suppliers for efficient lead time and competitive pricing. ➞ Monitored inventory levels and conducted cycle counts, monitoring activities in warehouse and receiving. ➞ Started as Purchasing Specialist and was promoted to management role with additional responsibilities for warehousing and receiving operations. ➞ Coached and supervised a team of seven in purchasing/receiving at the Smith Bits division of Smith International with responsibility for purchasing of MRO items, hydraulics, plastics, and fasteners. ➞ Successfully maintained the safety stock for one high-priority product, PDC Cutters, to mitigate the risk of any stock-outs that would negatively impact production. ➞ Performed Responsibilities as Buyer/ Planner and maintained work orders for finished products and Outside Vendor services for some EZ Grant Products.
