With power cable expertise dating back to 1883, ABB has pioneered a range of cable system technologies and has an extensive track record of manufacturing efficient, reliable and powerful high-voltage cable systems. The business operates today locally in 6 countries with approximately 950 employees and creates EUR ~600m revenues within two business lines. Within my time in the global management team (since 2012) we have grown from 600 employees and EUR ~350 m revenues while performing strategic portfolio review and divesting our factory in US. Whereas all growth has been organic. Special tasks: Lead of the divestment project where the whole ABB Cable business was sold to NKT Cables with enterprise value of EUR 836m. Closing performed successfully in February 2017.

ABB Power Cables Service was founded in May 1st, 2011 with a mission to be world leading power cable service company. I played an active role from the very beginning with forming this brand new business for ABB and establishing these services to the global market. From a 2 man start-up we grew to be the benchmark service business within the industry of high voltage cables. Challenges were to establish the fully new business and to do it globally by making a success from the Close to the Customer Strategy together with the local ABB units. Special tasks: Start-up business within ABB, Global business strategy, Member of ABB High Voltage Cables Global Management Team, Member of ABB Power Systems Divisional Service Team. Head of strategy work and project manager for what became ABB Victoria - worlds most advanced cable-laying vessel. Vessel was christened in May 2017 - on-time, cost and quality.

Being the first controller within ABB HVC Installations & Service department the work was initially to establish the function and key processes as well as to secure succession planning. As an Installations & Service Management Team we achieved to establish a company in company which delivers world class high voltage cable systems to the customers. During my time the organization grew from 37 to over 140 employees. Special Task: From October 2011 I also had a task to establish the ABB Offshore Engineering Center. Rotterdam, NL was selected as the location for the new ABB function and I managed it until handing it over to the permanent manager in May 2012.

When taking over the role immediately after a complete ERP change, the challenge was to get the processes and tools working with the new system SAP as well as securing data quality. Master Data Manager & SAP MM Module Owner

Project Manager in the SAP implementation for Materials Management (Logistics) and Master Data. The project was a complete ERP change from BaaN to SAP. The implementation was managed in only 9 months. It was handed over on time and in budget together with Master Data quality exceeding 6 sigma. Project was rewarded as the most successful within ABB Finland. Special tasks: Master Data Manager for the Transformers factory, Member of ABB Finland Master Data and Materials Management Functions.

Assignee in the ABB Group Headquarters within Group Function Shared Accounting Services (SAS) as Assistant Controller. Monthly follow-up of the 34 countries, consolidation of the data and presenting it to the group management. Special tasks: Member of the team rolling out the group wide program Target Ten aiming for USD 1 billion annual cost savings within ABB Group. Member of the core team building the data system for setting the targets to the countries and enabling the follow-up.
