My team (CySO) is responsible for enabling our company to continue doing business securely and efficiently. Because of that, CySo's mission is to determine how the enterprise DNA looks like before protecting, by establishing a unified hybrid collaboration environment where all members must proactively coopearte to address cyber threats impacting Hapag-Lloyd's brand, operations, and technology infrastructure, to become resilient against business disruptions. It is my responsibility to lead our Cyber Security Operations team, establishing a critical security function focusing on monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats. But also to create and sustain a competitive advantage through superior information and cyber security services and solutions, contributing to the ultimate Hapag-Lloyd's goal: To be the undisputed number one of quality.

As a high level security expert, it is my responsibility to plan, manage, implement and control IT security and technology projects that are aligned with the company strategy to achieve our three main goals: to be the Number One for Quality, to ensure enterprise Profitability and to be the Top Global Player in our industry. To embrace such vision, I act within the Hapag-Lloyd Security Policy and actively shape it through importante measures, IS controls and project plans to improve the company´s IT security. But Cybersecurity is always a challenging playing field, reason why finding the right partners and providers to help us in our vision, as well as working closely with the CISO and other BU, and maintaining and streghten team spirit is crucial. Staying alert, monitoring and checking the security mechanisms used, suggesting improvements, enforcing security requirements, being in permanent contact with regulations and relevant authorities, using the standards and best practices (i.s. ISO27001, BSI, Kritis, NIST) as well as keeping a close eye (and contribute) on national and European CSIRT news are also part of my responsibilities.

Subject: QA and IS auditing

As the Privacy Officer coordinating all activities related to implementation of and adherence to the relevant FMC Policies & Procedures and applicable (local) data protection laws, in accordance with the FMC Global Privacy Foundation. Main responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring local and/or functional oversight of the privacy and data protection program. Advising country senior management of their responsibilities and obligations and drives a culture of compliance with privacy and data protection requirements. Providing advice to country or functional FMC staff, including FMC staff in clinics and other facilities with direct patient interaction where their activities put FMC at risk and provides actionable solutions to remediate risks and issues and/or provide an opportunity for better data management and protection to improve health care outcomes for patients and ensure compliance with health reimbursement with governments and insurance companies.

As a high level corporate manager, I have overall responsibility for the company’s information resources and processing environment, reporting directly to the EMEA IT BP Director. Specialized in identifying organizational needs and leading the development and implementation of health care specific technologies to improve productivity, quality, operating performance and profitability. Also I’m responsable for providing leadership and management for the IT and technology to all country clinics operations oversee and further enhance the IT and IS structure through effective decisión making and timely communication, as well as providing strategic input and direction to enable the business continued rapid growth.

As a member of AEN/CTN 139 Technical Committee (Health informatics) taking part in the standardization in the field of information for health, Health Information and Communications Technology (ICT) to promote interoperability between independent systems, to enable compatibility and consistency for health information and data, as well as to reduce duplication of effort and redundancies between technological and medical fields.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR ) Awareness Coalition is a not-for-profit, fixed-term initiative with volunteer companies, designed to assist in raising awareness of the data privacy obligations for companies resulting from current legislation as well as the implementation of the GDPR. The establishment of this initiative was motivated by the growing concern that awareness is low across many industry sectors of both existing data protection laws, and more particularly the increased obligations which will be introduced by the GDPR. Coalition Partner companies include data protection experts, as well as IT vendors, legal, fiscal, event and general collaborators. The GDPR Awareness Coalition is comprised of Ambassadors, one representative from each participating partner company, who serves as the liaison between the Coalition and their personal participating company.

With overall responsibility for the company's business strategic guidelines, consisting in develop and expand the set of software applications destined to meet the requirements and needs of Nephrology Services from Hospitals. Also responsible for product development, marketing, sales, P&L and negotiation of major contracts.

Council member for IT issues and affairs related to healthcare and publishing industries, markets and trends. Specialized in Western Europe and Spanish areas.
