- Designed and sized propulsion systems and subsystems for the Portuguese Micro Launcher System, including a 25 kN cryogenic pressure-fed propulsion system, a cold gas thruster Reaction Control System (RCS), and a high-pressure cryogenic test stand - Mechanical design of components for propulsion systems, including 3D printed parts (metal and plastic) using SolidWorks - Performed 1D dynamic simulations of fluid systems for propulsion systems using EcosimPro - Sized hydraulic and pneumatic lines, including pipe routing, pressure drop calculations, and valve sizing - Produced technical reports and developed calculation tools - Assembled high-pressure and cryogenic systems - Prepared and conducted several successful test campaigns, including the preparation of test procedures and safety analysis - Produced technical drawings (ISO 128 standard)

Internship at Volume and Flow Laboratory doing my master's thesis to obtain the degree of master in Mechanical Engineering. The topic of my master's thesis was to develop an optical method to measure microflow rates, typically used in the medical industry. This was part of MEDDII - Metrology for Drug Delivery, a European project with the main objective of improve dosing accuracy and to enable the traceable measurement of volume, flow and pressure in existing drug delivery devices and in-line sensors operating at very low flow rates.

Formula Student is an international engineering competition where student teams from all over the world design, build and race formula one-style cars. Formula Student FCT is a group of students from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia - UNL that competed in this competition. The team is composed of 6 different smaller teams that work together to design and build the car with a budget of 10k€. As a member of the Aerodynamics Team, I helped to design the aerodynamics kits for the car and build the parts out of fiberglass and carbon fiber. In 2018, we entered our first competition at FS Andorra and had the most points awarded for our business plan presentation.

One month internship at the engineering and maintenance division of Sevenair Group, part of the Undergraduate Practice Opportunity Program (UPOP) class of the Mechanical Engineering course of FCT-UNL. ▪ Follow the daily work of the engineer responsible for the maintenance and engineering division ▪ Follow several maintenance operations and inspections on fixed-wing and propeller aircrafts ▪ Design technical drawings of tools and parts for the installation of components on aircrafts ▪ Make Engineering Change Order (ECO) to perform maintenance and inspection jobs on several aircraft Sevenair Group is the largest general aviation group in Portugal and one of the largest in Europe.
