Investors Relations, Equity Sales & Trading - Responsible for supervising Mizuho’s logistics team to successfully organize and arrange non-deal roadshows (NDRs) of the Japanese/Asian blue-chip companies. About 80 % of NDRs were led by the senior management including CEO, CFO, CIO and board members of the companies and my arrangements were proved to be highly appreciated by the top class clients. - Also responsible to accompany the delegations during the NDRs in Europe to offer further support to clients on site. - Conducted researches on institutional investors in Europe and Middle East and made proposals of Investors Relations activities for large-cap Japanese/Asian companies. - Produced reports on European investors’ investment trends as well as marketing materials and pitch books for Mizuho’s investment bankers’ use.

- Responsible for conducting analyses of target companies in Europe/Middle East, from an M&A perspective. - Prepare pitch books and other presentation materials which cover a wide range of industries for marketing purposes - Provide various admin supports related to compliance, audit, finance and P/L reports for M&A team - Translation (E/J/I)

- Responsible for research of global CFD markets with a particular focus on equity/indices. Conducted fundamental analysis and produced reportsfor retail customers and the media on a daily basis. - Coverage: major stock indices including Nikkei, S&P 500 and FTSE 100 and indivisual stocks in Japan (TSE), US (NYSE) and some emerging countries such as India and South Africa. Gold, energy and oil (WTI) also covered - Organized events and seminars for retail customers to provide training sessions for CFD products. - Translation (J/E): legal documents including SOIM and Customer Agreement.

- Worked for a number of non-Japanese financial institutions as a part-time translator

- Worked as an interpreter(J/E/I) for importing /exporting exhibitions, business meetings and conferences, site visits, and various commercial/art events - Translated a number of modern Italian novels for a Japanese publishing company for marketing purposes. - Developed my own customer base of large multi-national corporations for whom I worked free lance on a regular basis. - Traveled extensively with clients to trade shows and industry events to assist in translation and marketing communications.

- Planned and conducted interviews and field research in Europe for the project (An Interdisciplinary Research Project on Gold Rush Mining) and closely worked with the World Bank and the Japanese Government to budget and coordinate the related research. - In relation to the above, responsible for sociological analyses of miners' life in Tuscany, Italy. Achieved successful data collection from local academics and interested parties - Responsible for managing United Nations officials' itineraries and schedules during international meetings attended by AIST, UN, and Japanese goverment officials - Produced an manual textbook for mine workers in South East Asia to promote better hygiene - Wrote several essays for the official monthly magazine of the AIST.
