See patients for outpatient integrative consults, applying a functional medicine approach to improve patients health and wellness. In addition, provide primary care and wound care for patients in the Transitional Rehabilitation Program with an interprofessional approach. Patient population consists largely of patients’ underlying chronic disabilities and complex medical conditions. Special interest and training includes functional medicine, wound care, and simple procedures.

Full time faculty in the Family Nurse Practitioner/Doctor of Nursing Practice (FNP/DNP) Program. Lead and coordinate Metro State's DNP Program needs within the Department of Nursing and in the community. Teach courses as assigned, develop and revise curriculum, mentor students’ DNP Scholarship Projects, advise students, participate in DNP Program reaccreditation, and engage in committees at various levels within the department, the college, and university. Faculty liaison for the WebWOC Certificate Program.

Provide episodic urgent care services to patients throughout the lifespan. Duties include but not limited to: assess, diagnose, order and interpret diagnostics, prescribe, and formulate an appropriate patient-centered plan of care.

Evaluate, assess, diagnosis, treat and educate patients and their families within the urgent care and emergency department. Care for patients throughout the lifespan with a variety of health care concerns. Work collaborative and in consultation with other health care professions as needed. Integrate a holistic, patient-centered approach to provide the best care possible.

RN triage nurse and case manager for Fairview Home Care and Hospice. Provide comprehensive, autonomous nursing care to patients in their home while managing and coordinating home care services between the patient, therapists, home health aide, physician, and family. Utilize clinical expertise and nursing skills to provide after hours triage nursing services to home care patients over the telephone and make a home visit as indicated.

Served as a home care nurse, Competent Professional Authority (CPA) for the Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) program, performed Long Term Care Consultations (LTCC), lead health promotion screenings, presented on health promotion topics in the community, created clinical guidelines in Electronic Medical Record (EMR), administered immunizations, and supervised home health aides
