My responsibilities included the supervision of 10 full-time staff members that were responsible for handling and processing claims for other Blue Cross Blue Shield members that had medical services provided to them in the State of Idaho. This team worked original claims processing, corrected claims processing, resolution and a plan to plan Host call center that assisted other plans with questions regarding claims linked to their membership. I worked closely with the Blue Cross of Idaho Provider Relations department, Customer Service, other insurers and our provider community. I was also responsible for reviewing and maintaining our LDLA audit scores for timeliness and accuracy. This is a small outline of what my responsibilities were in this position.

My responsibilities included enrollment and billing services for individual health care policies for a team of 12 full-time staff members and up to 38 part-time Agency staff members during our annual open enrollment period. I interact with senior management staff, other internal departments and the State Exchange, Your Health Idaho. My position requires knowledge of ACA/HCR and other Federal programs and regulations along with the State of Idaho Department of Insurance and State Exchange regulations. This is a small accounting of my current responsibilities.

I graduated a year early; therefore did not have the time to participate in social clubs due to the heavy credits and workloads. I have attended University of Pheonix; however have not completed my degree; though at this point I am not sure if I will. Activities and Societies: Debate, Volleyball, Basketball
