Top improvements: • Supermarket: Analysis was made of forecast by quarter vs. Sales orders to calculate by family which materials would be required. Previously material was supplied from warehouse to production line; with the implementation of the supermarket downtimes were reduced due to lack of material, 80% of discrepancies in inventory adjustments were controlled. Max and min levels were calculated so that we only have the right material in the right place at the right moment. Also, we organized supermarket by type of material to reduce kitting time 40% [Standard time per model: 5 hr, improve to: 2 hr] • Implementations of fixtures in assembly process for enclosures due to the assembly process, 76% of enclosures were scratched.
