Hey, it's Michelle, your friendly neighborhood finance enthusiast! Having dedicated my high school life to building a sustainable future in business, I am excited to be continuing my endeavors in a new chapter of my life: college. I am double majoring in Statistics and Pre-Business at UNC Chapel Hill in the hopes of working in investment banking upon graduation. Over the past few years, I have accumulated a variety of skills and experiences suitable for this field, including: - Member of the Scholars of Finance - Member of the Global Development Research Club - Kiro 500 Investment Club Graduate - Finance President for the Youth Entrepreneurship and Finance Association - Global Finalist for the Diamond Entrepreneurship Challenge - Research Intern at UCF's BRaIN Lab and IU's School of Medicine - 3rd place in the IEEE's YESIST12 Global Competition - Member of the New York Junior Academy of Sciences These experiences and more have shaped my career and led me to brave the sea I am currently sailing. But there's more of me to discover beyond what I do professionally! I was an active member of my high school's marching band, the Viper Vanguard, even becoming the program's first ever flute section leader. I have continued my passion for flute (and piccolo) playing in college as a member of the Symphonic Band and the flute studio. In addition to music, I enjoy writing in my free time with specialized focuses on poetry, song-writing, and short stories.
