As health director, I am responsible for assessing and promoting the health of Willowdale SDA congregants in North York, Ontario, Canada (unpaid volunteer position) -Promote health by organising events to highlight the importance of the 8 laws of health: N.E.W.S.T.A.R.T- Nutrition (good nutrition 🍏as evidenced by systematic literature reviews etc.), Exercise🏋🏽♀️, Water 💦 (taken internally& externally [hydrotherapy]), Sunlight☀️ (vitamin D), Temperance, Air (fresh air, no smoking), Rest (and relaxation as found on the 7th day Sabbath), Trust in God 🙏🏾 - Organised 2 well attended events which was hosted by Dr. Paulette Higgins at All Dunamis clinic. The second event that included a delicious vegetarian meal and health #screening for participants.

• Re-developed & delivered the internally facing F22 Mission Year in Review (MYIR) the only comprehensive report that highlights yearly accomplishments. The intention was for it to integrate strategy, planning, quality improvement, evaluation, and knowledge translation. This document informs the development of materials for marketing, advertisement and fundraising etc. It included developing content (e.g. historical context & linking it to present, epidemiological, etc.), updating theories of change (logic models) in order to meet Heart and Stroke’s goals: promote health, save lives and enhance recovery. • Promote health by: Sharing knowledge & information with various audiences (e.g. knowledge translation-website messaging etc.); evaluating equity programs; developing evaluation plans (e.g. surveys) for Black and Indigenous Scholars Personnel awards • Save lives by: developing impact key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and show progress towards reaching our goals (e.g reducing mortality, morbidity- risk factor reduction and testing);

To examine develop evaluation materials including evaluation frameworks, logic model (visual representation of how we will accomplish our outcomes showing activities) Concurrently the Secretary and board member for the Backpack Project. All positions were unpaid, volunteer positions.

- Lead the fundraising campaign leading to over 250 fully stocked backpacks distributed to children of Caribbean descent in Scarborough Toronto,Ontario and Liberta Village, Antigua WI - Promote, manage and develop content for the BPP using various social media applications such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram - As the Evaluation lead, I developed a logic model which identified the goals and highlighted the BPP's reach and impact - Grew the INSTAGRAM following for the BPP which led to recognised by new organizations including the Black Physicians Association for BPP hosted webinar on COVID-19 in the Black Community and resources for parents - Developed a widely shared and viewed infographic on LinkedIn (1K views) across various regions - Became the trending topic on LinkedIn for #publichealthmatters - Involved in the planning and strategizing of backpack project initiatives including webinars - Supported children to reach their full potential one backpack at a time

As a part of the GTA team with the Provincial System Support Division, I provide evaluation support to various local and province-wide initiatives: -Lead the evaluation of the Community Connect pilot, an initiative intended to support women who use substances as they transition from withdrawal management to the community. Evaluation activities include: logic model and evaluation framework development; data analysis and reporting; quality improvement through monthly interviews with Implementation Committee & Case Manager; focus groups; capacity building proposal development geared towards staff - Provide project management and evaluation support for the Seniors' project. Workshops and resources are developed with community partners and subject matter experts to support mental health among diverse older adults (65+) across Ontario. My activities include: providing strategic direction & advice on processes (e.g outreach, content, data collection); developing logic model & evaluation framework outlining project procedures, monitoring and evaluation; supporting and evaluating the launch of new website with culturally sensitive resources; reporting to the Ministry on project progress -Participate in providing evaluation expertise for the award-winning, cross-departmental CAMH Reconciliation Working Group whose aim is to lead unlearning and relearning of Indigenous history and how colonialism impacts mental health and substance use. The objective is to shift organizational culture (behaviour, policies, practices) by working together as Indigenous and non-Indigenous colleagues. - Provide strategic and evaluation advice/ support to the advocacy group Reach Out Response Network - Engage with multiple stakeholders within the community and across CAMH for change

Knowledge mobilisation is now a central component of my role as an analyst. Knowledge mobilisation involves sharing knowledge (dissemination) and putting knowledge into practice (implementation) in order to promote the uptake of evidence and promote cancer system change. As a part of the Cancer Control Division, I was responsible for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives by collaborating with clinical, medical and professional partners to address the burden of cancer in Canada. My central focus was on early cancer diagnosis and effective clinical care. My main projects focused on supporting the development of standards for high-risk, resource intensive surgical cancer care to improve care; indicator development and the dissemination of interpretive pathology standards; and collaborating with stakeholders to facilitate the development of bio-molecular marker standards. Other projects I was involved in, focused on the sustainability of oncology drug funding and supporting quality radiotherapy across Canada. Role highlights: • Drafted and disseminated Pan-Canadian high-risk oncology surgery standards aimed at improving patient safety and clinical care • Encouraged knowledge dissemination and transfer by sharing knowledge products, planning and coordinating meetings with diverse stakeholders across the cancer system • Conducted environmental scans and literature reviews to support projects and programs; used EndNote to manage references to cite articles • Collaborated with and maintained partnerships with key stakeholders • Consolidated and obtained feedback from key stakeholders using FluidSurvey & QuestionPro • Developed work plans and facilitated project management processes • Communicated with senior management: drafted reports and summaries for senior management and board of directors • Researched and developed indicators to monitor project progress • Encouraged collaboration, positive work and team culture by being an active member of the workplace culture team

As part of the Performance Management team, I was responsible for developing evaluation products and building capacity. As a result of our team's role in this large public health organization, I had begun to understand the "big picture" behind organizational excellence as well as the interaction between evaluation, quality improvement and performance management. I built relationships,was engaged in team building and knowledge sharing. I also worked to address communication and transparency issues. Using evidence-based evaluation techniques, research skills and expertise, I used data to highlight issues, reduce or eliminate problems and ultimately to strive towards excellence. As a Research/ Evaluation Coordinator, I used data collection and analytical skills to evaluate programs and support decision-making. I also maintained and built relationships with a variety of stakeholders. The results that I produced were used for program improvement, planning and decision-making. This position helped me to develop expertise in primary care, project management, evaluation approaches and models.
