I founded Ars Bionica, med-tech bionic prostheses startup, with the mission to turn over ten years of high-tech bionics research into real products that empower people with limb differences.

Managing a team of brilliant engineers towards restoring sensory and motor functions for limb different, via multi-modal bidirectional interfacing of upper and lower limb robotic prostheses with peripheral nervous system.

Electronics Area Team Leader at Rehab Technologies Lab. Managing electronics engineers across various medical devices research and development projects for the facility, including Hannes prosthetic hand, TwinMed and FloatEvo exoskeleton and Omnia leg prosthetic system.

Responsible for Electrical and Electronics Engineering in R&D department. Hardware development of robotic rehabilitation devices and wearable sensors. Design to cost and industrialization activities for new devices.

Hardware and Firmware Development at Rehab Technologies Facility. My responsibilities: - Hardware and firmware development for an innovative myoelectric hand prosthesis, in collaboration with INAIL. - Hardware development for a wearable, battery-powered exoskeleton for rehabilitation and mobility of people with spinal cord injuries, in collaboration with INAIL. - Hardware development of electromyography sensor system for prosthetic devices, in collaboration with INAIL.

Hardware development, DSP and FPGA programming for an high speed data acquisition system for electrical measurements. Development of active magnetic field probes.

Design and realization of a supercapacitor energy buffer for trickle charging of batteries in Bi.U.Bi S.r.L: hardware electronics, mechanics, software, low-power systems analysis (Water Treatment, Water Flow Measurement). Bi.U.Bi is technical partner of Idrotigullio S.p.A. http://www.idrotigullio.it/ (Water Treatment ). Involved in the design of a underwater wireless battery charger in Bi.U.Bi S.r.L: electromagnetics, magnetic circuit design.
