* Construction supervision. * Implemented Panorama policies and procedures as PSCS for project and ensured compliance with Company standards in all safety related and construction matters. * Provided support as required to other engineering disciplines.

* Responsible for all setting out and supervision of ground works including drainage, water main and ducting installation and all reinforced concrete works such as pile-caps, ground beams, columns, retaining walls, floor slabs, lift shafts, stair cores, etc. * Regular procurement of steel reinforcement and daily procurement of concrete. * Responsible for quality assurance (QA) of all reinforced concrete works. Maintained an up to date inspection record and completed regular surveillance reports on reinforced concrete works. * Ensured Health & Safety and environmental protocol is adhered to at all times on site. * Liaised with design engineers on a regular basis. * Monitoring of noise and dust control on site. * Conducted daily inductions for new personnel arriving on site. * Managed and mentored a student engineer on work experience. He was given responsibility for making concrete cubes, temperature/ environmental recording, updating drawing racks and setting out. I ensured he understood the purpose behind each task and implications of incorrect decisions.

* Worked on several different sites in this time period on a sub-contractual basis to John Sisk & Sons construction firm, including: * East-West Interconnector, Batterstown, Co. Meath (March 2011 * January 2012) * Wicklow Town Community College, Co. Wicklow (June 2010 * March 2011) * Aghada Generating Station, Aghada, Co. Cork (January 2010 * June 2010) * Mallow Primary Health Centre, Mallow, Co. Cork (March 2009 * December 2009)

* Supervision of tunnels and associated shaft construction. * Direct supervision of labour and sub-contractors. * Setting out of shafts. * Maintained quality of construction output and accurate recording of site activities, including difficulties and delays. * Quantified and organised delivery of materials and managed cost control. * Managed safety on site.

* Responsible for organising work such as road asphalting, road line marking, paving, kerbing, laying turf and reticulation, landscaping. * Managed material procurement and documentation relating to materials ordered on site. * Coordinated traffic management for roadworks. * Liaised and cooperated with various organisations to organise roadworks. * Monitored hours worked daily of site personnel and completed time sheets accordingly. * Attended weekly staff meetings and reported progress of all activities to project manager.

* Primarily, responsible for setting out on a range of construction developments including several housing and apartment developments, a multi-storey car park, retail outlets and extension to a golf clubhouse. * Conducted numerous site surveys for clients, requiring planning permission, for construction of housing developments and land registration mapping. Completed drawings of surveyed area using AutoCAD. * Prepared ‘As Built’ mapping of developments for local authorities to take charge of the developments.
