Key responsibilities and achievements: • Develop and execute production schedules based on business demands • Maximize effectiveness of production team, equipment and materials to produce multi-line products within planned schedules while reducing costs • Manage high volume manufacturing of more than 25 products per month • Attain a sustained improvement of 25% in productivity over the last year • Develop and track cost improvement projects to reduce production costs by 5% • Increase production accuracy by 20% • Lead, develop and evaluate production staff of 30 members • Manage activities related to strategic purchasing to minimize operating expenses • Control inventory and raw material handling • Ensure safe work environment through implementation of safety awareness programs and compliance with OHSA • Design, implement and audit quality control processes • Develop technical documents including instruction manuals and SOPs • Assist with new cost quotes and price quotations for products • Daily and Monthly production reporting

-Leading a team of over 30 people ensuring strict quality control and that all products are manufactured and packaged meeting exacting requirements and standards. Operating and maintaining highly technically advanced canning and blending machinery. -To ensure the operations shift teams have all the tools and skills to process all ingredients aseptically into the range of products we have capability for, ready for packaging and export. -To effectively plan and organize the plant operations over the shift to ensure good manufacturing practices, employee safety and product quality are maintained at all times. -To monitor weekly key performance indicators such as rate, yield, quality, product time and OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency). -To ensure that the operations team has a solid training plan and performance feedback system in place for each Process Operator. -Implementing and achieving daily Schedule Plans. -Completing all administration accurately, verifying that documentation is correct and up to date. -Developing and recording new Standard Operating Procedures and User Instruction Manuals. -Continually monitoring productivity, incorporating ways to improve efficiency or reduce costs and wastage.
