Development of biodegradable packaging: • Planning of sampling and processing of technical data sheets • Contact and cooperation with raw material suppliers and certification agencies • Examination of the available materials for new applications Laboratory support: • Carrying out and analysis of results of: FTIR, DSC, TGA, GC-MS, OTR, WVTR, mechanical characteristics • Identification of raw materials (plastic films, adhesives, hot melts)

Improving flex crack (gelbo flex) properties for materials used in Bag in Box application: • Measurement Flex Crack properties of chosen films and comparison of the results with standard material • Influence of VLLDPE, storage time (analysis by DSC and FTIR) and relative humidity (r.H. <50% and <75%) on Flex crack properties, sealing properties and mechanical properties • Reproducibility and repeatability tests

Analysis of the bridging process fault (Glass processes): • Documentation of root causes of various types of waste, description of Elimination of all waste types, research and review of the schemes for waste creation • Creation of database with information needed for better process controllability

• Control of the bridging process and the waste quantity and quality • Development of new ways for quality improvement of the bridging process (ion exchange, SO3 as the origin of the gas bubbles in processed glass)
