• Lead the environmental, safety and health efforts for a technology start-up, that was also a U.S. DOT authorized hazardous materials carrier, across two rounds of fund raising and a 125% growth in headcount across nine geographically separate and diverse locations, 4 of which were new market launces. • Designed and implemented DOT compliance program for a pool of 150 drivers which included the drug testing program, driver qualification program, and driver hours of service program. • Developed operations leader specific training focused on creating and sustaining positive EHS cultures, then trained all operations leaders, preparing them for an increased period of growth. • Provided subject matter expertise to company regulatory group, advising industry and government councils, such as the NFPA, DOT and EPA, to develop the regulatory framework for an emerging industry.

• Managed two fulfillment centers simultaneously, with a combined square footage of 2.2 million square feet and combined associate headcount over 3800, leading a team of 16 direct reports, one of whom had another 4 direct reports. • As Site EHS Manager for a new launch fulfillment center, implemented the corporate EHS management system for a facility of 1.1 million square feet with a total capacity of over 38 million items and an employee peak headcount of 1400 • Developed, piloted & implemented network changes the increased compliance with both internal and external EHS standards & improved ergonomic risks • Developed proactive culture improvement and risk reduction program across the fulfillment center that resulted in a 38% improvement in first-aid injury rate and 17% improvement in recordable injury rate year over year, leading peer facilities in injury rates for second half of FY17 during the busiest time of the year • Partnered with operations and launch functions to develop building layout and process flow during phased launch cycle to identify and control risks arising from phased launch • Managed the construction/operations interface for phased launch, interacting with the construction general contractor, operations leadership, and launch personnel to ensure all users of the construction/operations space were safe from hazards and at-risk behaviors
