IOC’s Carol Lake project is the largest operation in the Labrador Trough, with an open-pit mine, concentrator and pellet plant in Labrador City. Annual capacity is presently 22 million tonnes (Mt), and an ongoing expansion program could eventually increase annual concentrate production to 50 Mt. In total, the Carol Lake deposits consist of 13 separate ore bodies.

NML is an iron ore mining company, whose deposits are located in northern Quebec and Labrador.

COSMO is a collaborative mining engineering laboratory based out of McGill University that implements advanced approaches to developing optimization and ore body modelling frameworks, which create value across the entire mining supply chain.

At CIRL, I worked in fiber-optic component manufacturing, optical component and test system design. I prepared documentation / analysis of Labview programs, and developed C++ routines for optical scanning. I was also responsible for creating and managing a client database and some website design.

Roxio is a multimedia software and service provider. I was responsible for translation of web-based technical articles for their software and translation between English, French, & German.

Agilent Technologies is a subsidiary of Hewlett Packard. I worked here as part of an internship between the 3rd and final years of my bachelors degree in Engineering Physics. I was part of a software development team working on device drivers.
