Led a highly experienced and dedicated Global-multi-cultural team of Senior Managers across the airport in disciplines including airside and terminal operations, planning, security, emergency management, safety, resource management and baggage handling. Chaired the Governance Committee which was responsible for the Operational Readiness and successful opening of the new Hamid International Airport. The committee included senior leaders from across the Qatar Airways Group of subsidiaries, government agencies and other various stakeholders. Played a key stakeholder role in the Master Planning efforts for expansion of the new airport facilities to accommodate the continuous annual double digit growth of Qatar Airways. Chaired the 2022 World Cup Committee for Aviation/Transportation and wrote the Airport's Operational Strategic Plan to accommodate the event.

Provided leadership to the largest division within the Authority which included Operations, Terminal Services, Parking, Law Enforcement, Emergency Services, Ground Transportation, Traffic Control and Communications departments. Airport Emergency Incident Commander Chaired the new Terminal 2 Activation and Transition Committees resulting in a successful opening of the new terminal facility. Chaired the Consolidated Rental Car Facility Planning Committee Airport liaison with the TSA and FAA Airport’s Division Airport’s representative on NHL 2011 All Star Game Organizing Committee

The Accreditation program is a 3+ year Professional level program for airport industry executives seeking to strengthen their knowledge of airport management in a number of areas including planning/development, operations, marketing and communications, terminal and airside operations, safety, security and finance. The program includes a written test, a thesis on a specific airport topic and an Oral exam.
