About
I am an enthusiastic and highly motivated aerodynamicist and technical manager, with significant experience in the application of computational and experimental techniques to the challenges of Formula 1 car design. Leading a team of engineers, my expertise is in defining and developing original aerodynamic ideas from concept through to detail design and implementation. A successful track record of improving car performance in a challenging and pressurised team environment. In summary: a flow field architect. Prior to working in Formula 1, I had a research background specialising in vortex interaction, stability and breakdown, using cutting edge high order Spectral Element CFD methods. With an exceptional theoretical understanding of aerodynamics, these theories and principles are at the heart of my philosophy: to develop elegant solutions to seemingly complex problems.
