Ministry of Forestry – API & React Development • Set up and configured the API server and implemented endpoints based on user stories. • Gained first-hand experience with ReactJS, focusing on developing reusable components and integrating them into composite structures using GoA Design Controls and Design CSS for React. • Participated in an Agile cross-functional team, selecting and completing backlog stories. • Managed bug fixes and feature improvements across the project lifecycle.

Technologies: Angular (11 to 17), .NET (6 to 8), Azure App Services, SQL Server • Led the migration and comprehensive redesign of an Angular 11-based website to Angular 17, enhancing functionality and aligning with modern web standards. • Upgraded and refactored a .NET 6 API server to .NET 8 for a CRM system, focusing on Membership Management, Marketing, Event Handling, Call Center Operations, Canvassing, and Reporting. • Developed a multi-server environment with two web servers and one API server, leveraging Azure App Services for scalability and reliability.

Technologies: Angular 13, .NET, SQL Server • Hired as a Designer, responsible for estimating, documenting, and designing new functionality while upgrading modules from AngularJS to Angular 13.

Technologies: Angular 11, Angular Material • Charged with building the Admin frontend system, designed to manage ownership, legal documents, contracts, workflow, and billing processes for franchises.

• The environment at Uptake was based on Agile with daily standups, grooming, planning and retrospect’s. Continuous integration with BitBucket, Sonar and Jenkins. • I drove the iQuote solution integration with a third part API to import from Caterpillar into our system as well as a lot of support tickets in WebForms and SQL Server. • COTI (Customer Order to Invoice) solution I upgraded from angular 5 to 6 to 7 with the goal to get to 11. There were some architectural issues with some design and library choice where I needed to remove ngx bootstrap, AG-Grid and replace with Material due to performance issues as well as compatibility with IE 11. • Debugging issues and bug fixing were the primary tasks with a few new feature projects, the API integration, workflow upgrade.

• The environment at BMO was based on Agile with daily standups, grooming, planning and retrospect’s. • I implemented features from User Stories using copy decks, mocks, translation and validation documentation. • Built a lint/pretty check on code, helped automate unit tests and assisted with some configuration of the webserver (same in IIS) for Angular basically ensuing the redirect rules were in place. • Debugging issues and bug fixing. Tools were Jira, BitBucket, Confluence and Bamboo.

• Primary tasks were UI development and some backend for our PDF Rendering and data extraction software. • Did the upgrade to Angular 7 for the team. • Built reusable components and abstracted the AG-Grid for common UI to reduce redundant code. • Built a schema (xml) driven UI that would dynamically create configuration widgets for our adapters, connection, machines management etc. • Design Mockups and lead UI discussions and eventual implementation.

• Primary tasks were coding, bug fixing and designing software to manage the upcoming Election and our role integrating with other vendors and the government. • My first Assignment was to make a batch program that moves data about voters, locations, addresses and other info from all of the 5000 locations and have them synchronize with a master database. Feeds come from the government system are processed and then sent back. This was written in C# WinForms to allow tracking, job execution and monitoring the health through error reporting. The data objects were multiple csv files in and out and our Azure Sql server elastic database. • Using Angular and Material 4 then upgraded to 5, I did the Application Architecture for the Kiosk Machine Management System with a Web API 2 RestFul application server as well as the coding. There were three modules written for this SOA application, Security/Access, Machine Wipe/lock (remotely lock and or wipe machines at the polls) and Dev Ops Dashboard for monitoring the health of the overall system through graphs, tables and summary reports that both reported global health as well as drill down functionality to get to detailed jobs at specific locations. • The last task was to fix bugs in the Worker Management Module in an MVC6/JQuery environment. • Azure is where all of databases and apps resided. Azure My SQL for data pertaining to Machines and SQL Server Elastic Database to manage all the various voting locations with app slots for the pure Angular 5 and Web API 2 Application Server.

• This is the first company I have worked for that uses TDD. • Passed TDD training course on refactoring legacy code and applying automated testing. • Create Dashboard widget items like absences, training etc. • Fix bugs in current system, Windows forms, AngularJS and batch jobs • Refactoring and designing better work flow while adding regression and unit tests. • Refactoring code following Solid principals. • There was/is a quality problem that I was brought in to address, both in how the code is written and how it is tested.
