VC investment on biopharmaceutical/biotechnology projects

- Manage development and manufacturing projects for US/EU clients including coordinating internal work flow and regular communication with clients. Responsible for clients from top global pharmaceutical companies. - Responsible for project managing in antibody discovery and antibody drug conjugation departments for new biologic therapeutics discovery and development. - Responsible for working with dept heads and conduct business development for the entire biologics service business: assisting the BD team in China, coordinating and aligning with BD team in US and EU, leading the BD efforts in one key region. - Expand business development activities in Korea, Japan and India. - Finding and facilitating project/technology transfer or collaboration between WuXi and other entities.

- Planning and leading specific projects in the area of antibody construction, humanization, characterization, expression and purifications. - Large Scale bioprocess of antibody from bacteria and mammalian cell expression systems. - Antibody drug conjugation and purification. - Protein immune-characterization. - Establish lab SOPs and QC protocols according cGMP standards. - QC Analytical research/Quality control using UPLC/HPLC (SEC, RP, HIC), FPLC, MALDI-TOF, LC-MS. - Data analysis. - Project management and consultation on project progress and technical support. - Out-sourcing GMP manufacturers (CRO/CMO) for antibody and antibody-drug conjugate productions, and business development with potential clients in China.
