Michael Ledo

I’m an established entrepreneur and leader in the business of sports and entertainment; founding, operating, and managing three sport organizations over his 20 years in the industry. I hold a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Saint Francis, where I earned honors as All-American and became the first African American football player to be inducted in the USF Athletic Hall of Fame. I was awarded "40 under 40" Business Week's Honoree for my passion for business ownership, development, buyouts, along with mentoring athletes who create and cultivate change in the world. I’m committed to making professional athletes world class entrepreneurs, investors and community leaders, that has created massive growth and impact at RISE in seven short years. RISE currently manages 12 athlete enterprise clients, elevating the culture for Athlete Entrepreneurs. RISE is becoming the trusted office, where athletes and entertainers build a legacies for their families. Besides my primary focus of leading RISE, I also serve in leadership roles for organizations aligned with my core values and purpose. I’m currently serving as General Partner for MEI Capital, where we advance racial equity and opportunity through entrepreneurship for minority-owned businesses. Furthermore, I also serve as Venture Partner for a Sports Venture Capital group known as The Collectiv. The Collectiv focuses on democratizing access to top-tier SportsTech investment opportunities for 99% of athletes, executives, and advisors, not just the 1%.
