Proficient with FDA/EMEA requirements and standards for manufacture of large molecules, small molecules, biosimilars, medical devices, and monoclonal antibodies within Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industries.

Manage the technical and sales relationship with over 80 clients across North America and currently taking on responsibilities in Western Europe, Australia and India with regard to our two products in the pharmaceutical and nutriceutical industries: ABAX® – Automated PCR system for the detection of food and nutriceutical pathogens.

Experience with Sunquest-LIS (laboratory information system), Vitek microbial identification and susceptibility systems, Bactec blood culture systems, and various ELISA, EMIT, and Gel Electrophoresis techniques. Specialized microscopy and staining techniques include the following: light microscopy, stereomicroscopy, fluorescence microscopy, electron microscopy, gram stains, acid fast stains, modified acid fast stains, chlorazol black parasitology stains, trichrome parasitology stains, Giemsa parasitology stains, and flagella stains. Other tasks include minor administrative and customer service related activities, as well as quality control responsibilities. Per Diem employee while attending graduate school in Germany.; Processing, analyzing, and resulting all chemistry, hematology, and immunology specimens on the third shift. Strong experience with several different types of laboratory automation, some of these instruments included: Kodak Ektachem chemistry analyzers, Bayer Automated Chemiluminescence System immunology analyzers, Flow Cytometry, Hitachi 911 chemistry analyzers, Ciba Corning blood gas analyzers, MLA 1000 coagulation analyzers, NE 8000 hematology analyzers, Bayer Technnicon hematology analyzers, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry, and TDX and COBAS drug level analyzers. Excellent knowledge of Cerner, the laboratory information system and PCIS the patient care information system. Other job requirements encompassed all levels of quality control analysis and troubleshooting on the aforementioned instrumentation, major light microscopy work in areas hematology differentials (specialized knowledge obtained in diagnosis of the different Leukemias), cell counts and urine sediment analysis, and minor administrative tasks.
