Forecast likely levels of demand for services, products and or component parts to be used in manufacturing process. Review inventory levels and enter replenishment orders as needed, maximizing efficiency, on time shipping to customers, and cost reductions. Maintain safety stock and minimum economic order quantity database in accordance with established corporate supply chain models. Develop and maintain supplier evaluation and ranking to include on time delivery, quality, cost, and lead time. Identify and develop new material sources and service suppliers. Obtain and evaluate bids / quotes and make recommendations. Negotiate, agree to and monitor contracts and their progress. Disposition return goods as needed and ensure processing for credit. Communicate with engineering, sales, production planning, and production departments. Review orders received for accuracy. Approve invoices from accounting. Liaison between departments and service representatives for maintenance and repair work as needed. Conduct research to ascertain market trends and needs. Run MRP workbench using Avante Software.

Procure forgings, castings, bar stock, outside services and other raw materials as needed to support 57MM in sales.
