Working to develop and market a micro UUV which can help develop autonomous and swarm behaviors while providing and easy, effective, and cost-efficient means of collecting and processing aquatic data

Rapid prototyping and development of autonomous behaviors for UxVs. • Aided in the research, development, test, and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for submarines, autonomous underwater systems, undersea weapons systems, and countermeasures associated with undersea warfare • Coordinated efforts with oceanographers, computer scientists, estimation theorists, multidisciplinary engineers, and international teams to integrate and extend the capabilities of unmanned vehicles (UUVs, UAVs, USVs and UxVs)

Collaborated to outfit a commercial Bluefin SandShark with necessary hardware and software to traverse glacial waters • Under Dr. Licht’s guidance, designed and constructed a self-contained laser to combat an invasive species in the South Pacific • Required the ability to effectively communicate and operate with a variety of people each with different backgrounds and areas of expertise; development required the technical skills associated with the use of SolidWorks modeling, electrical prototyping, embedded processor programming, and field testing

Instructed 59 junior and senior ocean engineering students in two engineering core curriculum classes

Developed and designed a low cost, deep-sea remote camera using SolidWorks and EAGLE

Guided and supported first-year students academically as they transitioned to college life socially and academically

Conducted geotechnical and material testing in a professional and commercial atmosphere
