Michael O'Hara

I'm an analytical engineer and manufacturing operations professional with a broad commercial background. I excel at complex problem solving, engineering manufacturing production processes and solutions and driving improvements to achieve world-class results. I have 20 years of operations excellence and technical experience in the silicone elastomer fields, in particular LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber). I create and commission- strong, reliable, and efficient LSR processes, build and train high-performing, customer-focused teams, creating momentum and setting the pace for production in my start-up businesses and other manufacturing companies I have worked for in the past. With a strong background and conviction in Lean Manufacturing Systems (Toyota Production System) and Six Sigma, my interests are in the process of utilizing Lean and Six Sigma tools, data driven and statistical techniques, to provide leadership with my team to drive and cultivate operational excellence. These techniques are the keystones of any operation I have been involved in that effectively distill what can be typical in a manufacturing operation of an overwhelming series of activities, and sometimes complexity, into their base components, all derivative of value, and create a path or roadmap to continuous improvement. I enjoy the rigor of founding and running companies' and participating in business and manufacturing.
