💡 A chemical engineer by trade 💡 Been at ExxonMobil for nearly 20 years 💡 Born in Southern Louisiana (US), a heartland of energy and manufacturing 💡 Come from a long line of chemical engineers (both grandfathers and an uncle) 💡 A constant work in progress and student of leadership Coming up from the factory floor to the boardroom has given me a unique capability to communicate with people at all levels, from senior executives to new hires and hands in the field. It may seem counterintuitive, especially for someone from an engineering background. As engineers, we tend to want to immediately solve problems. What I’ve learned is that as a leader, my role is more than just developing a solution and moving on. It’s about creating an environment and culture where I can help my teams connect the dots, unpack challenges and remove the barriers to problem-solving. This is the environment I’m building at ExxonMobil India to help us achieve two big goals: o Boosting the India growth story: We’re gearing up to be more than just a supplier of energy and energy products to India. Soon we will be producing our lubricants at our own plant in Maharashtra. We are also leaning into India’s engineering and manufacturing capabilities in a bigger way to build energy equipment for our facilities around the world. It’s a promising opportunity that could make India vital to the global supply chain for energy equipment. o Enabling our people to deliver their best every day: For the passionate and purposeful, ExxonMobil provides many meaningful opportunities to advance the global energy transition from India.
