Yelo Limited are the world leaders in the manufacturing of laser testing equipment and have been performing laser diode reliability testing and printed circuit board (PCB) testing for over 30 years for the photonics and electronics industry. We are a dynamic engineering company renowned for our bespoke and cutting edge technology, with a variety of customers ranging from large multinational corporations to smaller specialist companies, Yelo designs, manufactures and supports test solutions worldwide. As Engineering Manager, my responsibilities include: - Managing a great team of Software Developers, who create the code that makes our world class test equipment work efficiently and accurately. - Guiding a highly experienced Applications Engineering team, whose primary function is to design bespoke test fixtures for some of the biggest, cutting edge companies in the world. - Supporting the Technical team whose responsibility is to ensure our IT systems are working efficiently and safely (and most of all working!).

* NIBE Energy Systems Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Swedish based NIBE Energy Systems, Europe’s largest manufacturer of heat pumps and heat pump based technology * With Headquarters being in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, I was responsible for establishing, growing and maintaining the business within Northern Ireland * Duties included: * gaining specification from Northern Ireland’s leading architects, consultants, developers and housing associations through good business acumen linked with sound technical knowledge * creating a network of professional, fully trained and qualified installers to offer market support and to assist with business development * establishing the ‘NIBE Training Academy’ in Northern Ireland, a centre for training excellence in the area of heat pump technology * Also was responsible for supporting new and existing customers technically through Field Service visits

Reporting directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager, responsibilities included the management of project sales to specific Key Accounts (Tesco, Waitrose, Safeway, Foreign and Commonwealth Office) Co-ordinated with engineering design team in preparing special large scale project estimations for all subsidiaries, distributors and direct customers whilst also preparing the explanatory engineering documentation to accompany estimations Acted as last stage in Quality Assurance, performing analytical tests for effective mechanical and electrical functionality of completed diesel power systems

Primarily due to the well known difficulties facing the Oil & Gas Industry, I have recently had to accept redundancy and I am now on the look out for the next challenging role. In summary, I am a Product Manager with both Sales & Marketing experience and a successful track record in Project Management. Although based in Belfast, I am willing to relocate for the right role.
