In my role at Novocure, I have expanded my experience in hardware engineering to include embedded systems engineering. My responsibilities encompass: * End-to-end development of IC boards adhering to strict medical standards, from the requirement stage through schematic design and PCB layout to mass production. * Leading internal innovation projects through design stages to proof of concept. * Debugging and investigating process failures. * Writing and developing functional specifications, design requirements, test requirements, verification plans, and test procedures. In my role as an Embedded Systems Engineer, I am responsible for: * Programming and debugging Microchip PIC and STM32 microcontrollers using MPLAB and STM32Cube. Developing embedded C software for microcontroller peripherals and communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and RS232. * Implementing SHA and AES encryption in software to enhance data security. * Managing firmware upgrades and maintaining data integrity by writing to and reading from flash. * Ensuring robust and reliable software by creating unit tests for crucial functions.

Design of Layout high speed boards for Interconnect and next generation product lines. Tasks are influenced by vigorous signal integrity guidelines, constantly changing product requirements, and aggressive project schedules. Primary responsibilities include : * Work with hardware, signal integrity and mechanical engineers on HCA , Adaptor , Power , Interconnect cards and TBs for EDR and HDR cards by using latest chip technology used in network products. * Organize Valor-NPI rules (ERF) , checklists and wizard flow. * Create fabrication ,assembly drawings and document release project. * Work according to capabilities of PCB fabrication and assembly houses to assure high quality DFM and DFA results.
