Started playing musical instruments in the second grade, 'found' the guitar at 12 years old, and began studying the drums at 40. Twice dropped out of music school. Studied guitar and composition with Dale Brunning, classical guitar with Ricardo Iznaola and Jonathan Leathwood, and drums and composition with Michael Carvin. Interested in exploring music without boundaries. Influenced by Jazz and improvisational music, African music, hip hop, electronic music and the sounds that surround us in daily life. Performed solo and with Dean Sharp, Carleton Holmes, Jansen Cinco, Chris Theberge, Robert Kopec, Danny Borg, Brendaly, Esther Knudson, Goldee Green and others.
