At Uniper, we are making the energy transition a reality. How? We combine security of supply with a vision of a greener future. Driving this transition has been my goal throughout my career, and when I joined Uniper in June 2023, I quickly realized: This company of approx. 8,000 people shares that goal and is uniquely equipped to drive this change. What does this mean for Uniper? We provide flexible energy capacity to keep the lights on, businesses running and homes warm. Today, Uniper is already pioneering the market for green gases such as hydrogen. At the same time, we are expanding our renewable energy business based on hydro, wind and solar power. One thing is for sure: Our future is clearly greener. To this end we will invest approx. €8 billion in the green transformation between 2023 and the early 2030s. By 2040, Uniper aims to be carbon neutral and will be stepping out of coal by 2029 at the latest.
