Think Research is a rapidly-growing healthcare software company. We are leaders in translating clinical evidence into actionable knowledge for clinicians. Our point-of-care, clinical decision-making tools aim to dramatically improve patient safety, save clinicians'​ time, and reduce costs. Mainly led the development, implementation and adoption of digital order sets via cloud-based software in ~25 small to large hospitals in Ontario as part of a provincially funded program that aims to improve patient outcomes and strengthen decision making across the healthcare system.

Designed and implemented a qualitative research study in the district of Koppal to determine the influence of the media on maternal and child health service uptake in public health centres.

Performed various research activities on new pathways for client and family engagement in clinical care with a focus on the use of technology to facilitate information sharing. Core activities centered on grant proposals, systematic reviews, survey methods and report writing. Select systematic reviews to inform strategic framework and future departmental priorities included: best int'l practices in tech-enabled patient education programs; pattern-mapping of outcomes used to evaluate mental health education programs; and a review of depression-oriented mobile apps to map help-seeking experience and to identify regulation and quality assurance gaps in app marketplaces.

Focused on the strategic planning and delivery of various activities to build mental health and addiction systems and bridge treatment gaps in low- and middle-income countries. Mainly responsible for a two-year Grand Challenges Canada (GCC) seed grant to integrate evidence-based treatment for depression with Voodoo treatment practices at the point of care in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Negotiated and renewed a three-year partnership with the National Institute of Psychiatry in Mexico City, Mexico to reduce violent incidents across the hospital and rolled out hospital-wide patient and staff safety program. Designed and led the comprehensive Health Equity Impact Assessments (HEIA) of three scalable GCC health innovations in Haiti, India and Uganda to inform equity-based practice within global health programming.
