Spearheaded construction of a multi million 600k sqft expansion of Utz Snacks Building 4. Project included upgrades to electrical grid and installation of a material handling bridge over the CSX Railroad tracks. Project was delivered within budget with an early ribbon cutting ceremony. Managed the team of Project Managers in the CBRE Industrial Sector serving the NE. Project portfolio included new build to suit, Building TIs, Facility restorations and upgrades, Racking Storage projects, Fork Lift solutions.

Spearheaded all new construction projects with budgets ranging from $50M-$200M from award through occupancy. Oversaw upgrades and capital growth projects across a network of 60 buildings in the US and Canada. Reported directly to the sector presidents and business leadership on project status. Managed four direct reports. • Developed a unique rack sprinkler design for a client now in use at two additional DHL sites. • Grew team to four engineers able to handle 30+ simultaneous projects, producing $2M in revenue and saving the company over $1M annually. • Expanded team services to support the construction and fit-out needs of the E-commerce and retail sectors. • Supported client’s short-turnaround warehouse move, completing the project two weeks ahead of schedule and on budget, resulting in two additional projects from the customer, generating $4M in new revenue.

Responsible for all new construction projects with budgets ranging from $50M-$200M. Created and managed a team of engineers to support the construction and fit-out needs of the retail sector. Supervised upgrades and capital growth projects across a network of 60 buildings in the US and Canada. Reported directly to the sector presidents and business leadership on project status. Helped generate new business opportunities. Managed three direct reports. * Engineered a robust build-out for the Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission, incorporating a unique design that is now a showcase facility. * Solved mold issue for a client by researching and developing an alternate building technique that prevented moisture build-up on the floor around the cooler. * Created a complex and extensive build-out library for the company, resulting in a consistent approach that all engineering could utilize. * Developed and implemented Go Green quality design for a client that optimized low-energy lighting, responsibly harvested wood and recycling materials in construction, placed native plants on the property, and installed a composting site along the walking path.

Supervised individual warehouse construction projects. Responsible for delivery of building on time and budget. Managed installation of conveyors, sorters, tilt tray sorters, pick modules, and racking. Ensured automation performed to specifications and supervised the installation of drive-in coolers and freezers for grocery applications. Oversaw two direct reports. * Devised plan to execute customer’s 48-hour deadline to move building suites. Met timeline and was promoted to Director of Facility Development and Construction due to the success of this project.

Accountable for project management office, budget, and a team of 10 project managers. Reported directly to sector presidents and business leadership. * Sent on-site in Brazil to establish their project management office (PMO), resulting in the development of long-term relationships with the Brazilian team and two new multi-million dollar accounts. * Developed and implemented a complete project plan for a Canadian customer, and trained and onboarded new hires, resulting in a five-year renewal of operational support between company and client.

Ran quality control for three client buildings located in multiple states. Supervised hourly and salary staff across all three locations. * Obtained ISO 9000 certification for all three facilities. * Ensured compliance with food grade practices at all three facilities. * Implemented standard operating procedures (SOPs) for entire operations and confirmed compliance.

I was responsible for the manufacturing and vendor quality control at 5 plant located in Shanghai China, Ontario Canada, and Pennsylvania.

Responsible for the implementation commissioning and start up of Dockside and RTG material handling cranes at major ports around the world.
