Originally from New Zealand, I moved from a skilled metal trade into the world of non-profit. Purely by accident (or fortune...), I entered the world of emergency medicine as a prehospital provider. My experience is with both high volume urban 911 and municipal based lower volume fire/EMS. I have functioned in the capacities of provider, field supervisor, and operations manager. My focus in recent years has been on both hospital and prehospital education in vocational and university settings, specifically providing advanced level AHA trainings and bachelor of science degree track education.
