I teach freshman and sophomore level World History courses at the University of Central Florida

I have held multiple positions in the 12 years I have worked with OCPS. I started off as a teacher, teaching World History and European History in Winter Park High School's prestigious International Baccalaureate program. After five successful years of teaching, I was promoted to Assistant Principal at Hungerford Prep High School. Hungerford Prep is Orange County's all magnet high school. In my original role as Assistant Principal, I was one of two administrators responsible for 450 students. My duties included everything from the master schedule to facilities. In 2004, I was sent to Oak Ridge High School as part of Orange County's turn around team. Oak Ridge was a poor performing school, and the state mandated that all administrators in the school be high performing with successful teaching experience. As an Assistant Principaln of instruction at Oak Ridge, I have been responsible for the academic programs and all student achievment at my school.
