These include but are not limited to the departments CDL program, respiratory and hearing conservation programs and several others. Perform industrial hygiene duties such as air monitoring, ergonomic evaluations and noise monitoring. Develop and provide training for new and current employees, coordinate between other departments in the city to ensure we are meeting all current safety standards. Also assist other departments in any safety needs such as site assessments, training, job and process hazard analysis, etc. Also to perform confined space assessments for the department. Perform 5 Star audits and inspections every six months. Currently a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association's (AIHA) registry program and trainer for the 4 gas and Photo Ionization Detector (PID) registry program. I am also a newly appointed convener for the ISO Real Time Gas Monitoring Committee for Work Group 3.
