Our unique town is an inland tourist destination in an Area of Outstanding National Beauty(AONB) and World Heritage Site Buffer Zone. The town is threatened by Out-of-Town Development and the loss of its Cottage Hospital, Post Office Sorting Facility and Fire Station.

Managed the Commercial, Industrial and Miscellaneous Property Portfolio including 1m ft2 of business space and 120 retail units etc. Acquisition, Management and disposal of Corporate Property. I previously worked for Wrexham Rural District Council(1968 to 1974) prior to that Lancashire CC, Preston and I trained with Evans & Son in Wrexham where I was articled to the Senior Partner, Silian Evans who remained a life long friend and mentor until his death in December 2011.

Ran my own business with a business partner which was a specialist residential letting and property management Company. Initially a Jordan's Residential Lettings and then a Martin & Co Franchise. A learning curve trying to understand the lack of genuine support from both Franchisors particularly when exploited and let down by my Business Partner.

Encouraging residents to Buy Local and keep money recirculating in the Local Economy and supporting the principle of Field2Fork by backing local farming, food production and artisan crafts, local tradesmen and a vibrant inland tourism industry.
