As an engineering graduate of 2019, I am primarily looking to pursue an engineering position with a prolific company that will allow me reach my highest potential in the industry. I am a confident individual with a strong spirit to succeed. I have proven competence in leading, organising and presenting projects such as my recent development of an automated burger maker and a mini rocket powered car, as well as my personal project at University (see more in "Education"). Aside from University, my skills in leadership are enhanced by my experience as a camp specialist counsellor through the renowned Camp America program in the management of children’s welfare and leisure, and as a festival supervisor managing hundreds of food stall owners and deputising for the event manager when required (see more in Experience). I have also proven to be an integral team member in multiple avenues; such as being a part of UCLan’s IMechE Formula Student racing team, UCLan’s Formula Ford racing team, working within multiple Lifeguarding teams and working in teams of colleagues within the various and numerous jobs that makeup my previous employment. I have experience with a variety of engineering software; SOLIDWORKS, ANSYS, EES, Simscape Multibody, Simulink, Matlab, CES EduPack, Simul8 and awareness of AutoCAD, Inventor and CATIA. I am also very proficient with alternative software such as Microsoft Office, OneNote and Project, that have accompanied my extensive years of profound research, presentations and effective report writing. I have basic experience in manufacturing with the involvement of CNC milling and turning (lathe) machines, water jet and laser cutters, roller press, brake press, vac forming, drilling and grinding machinery as well various workbench tooling. Despite my experience and interests favouring the engineering field; my qualities and capabilities (not limited to) my adaptability, work ethic and aspiration to achieve serve me as promising investment to any company and would therefore welcome any opportunities presented to me. Currently on a year development plan to learn, and assist the structural design team in, the structural design of corrugated board to provide bespoke point of sale display, retail ready, e-commerce and transit packaging solutions using Artios 2D & 3D CAD modelling software. Required to apply basic structural engineering theory and manufacturing knowledge of die cutting (Bobst & Century), gluing and folding (Visionfold & Starfold), 6-colour flexo (Weipong), screen and digital printing machinery processes to design effective solutions for manufacture. In 2015 took part in the Camp America program where my role was a counsellor and Lifeguard. This involved taking care of children from the age of 6-16 at a summer camp in Pennsylvania USA. The aim was to ensure that they all had the best summer of their lives. Having previously completed an NPLQ (UK) and an American Red Cross (US) lifeguard certifications, I obtained the role of a specialist at the camp as I was employed to lifeguard as well as a counsellor the kids. Counselling involved ensuring the kids were up at the correct time, dressed for breakfast and well fed at meal times. I had to make sure they made it on time to the activities planned for them throughout the day whilst making sure I was always present for my shifts when lifeguarding, showing great time management not only for myself but for the kids too. Counselling also meant taking the leadership role to resolve any issues that arose day in day out on their behalf, whether it was fall outs between kids or sudden cancellation of activities, I was always assertive to find a solution to such problems. Lifeguarding involved sharp skills in awareness and supervision to ensure kids were playing safely in the pool and at lakeside. It also involved building relationships with the kids in order to create safe, fun, productive swimming lessons for them to enjoy and develop their swimming abilities in the water.
