Responsible for creating a disaster recovery plan, maintaining over 60 servers (20 production & 40 alpha beta servers). Developed stored procedures, and built various SQL reports with SQL Server & Oracle DB.

* Optimize DB performance. CICD (continuous integration and continuous deployment), MariaDB tuning, replication, clustering. * Designed the DB infrastructure for the API and the web application using Debian Wheezy and MariaDB 10.x. * Created processes and stored procedures to turn raw data into operational data, then migrate to optimized data warehouse. * Data is made available and ready to migrate into Cassandra NoSQL Database. * Current projects include designing and implementing a Cassandra NoSQL DB in a lab environment to extend the CICD into NoSQL in the next phase.

Providing system administration, network administration, desktop support, database administration for small companies ranges from 1 user to 20 users. Various projects includes Microsoft Access migration to MySQL, revamp disaster recovery, setup new servers / networking equipments for 9 clients.

Visit real estate office, mortgage companies, banks and escrow companies everyday. Familiar with customer service, work as a bridge for communication between the office, the title officers and the clients. Sometimes visit the county recording office with the client.

I was in the premier support team, where our team would provide proactive support for our servers and software that were shipped to and implemented at the client site. I was responsible in designing, implementing and supporting over 2,000+ servers to approximately 1,000 customers that were either large corporations or service providers that use Vital Net to monitor their network equipment. Technologies used were Windows NT 4, Windows 2000, SQL Server 6, SQL Server 2000, Raid Controllers, IDE & SCSI hard drives. We had a variety of servers from Dell, and the servers we shipped to the clients collect network data via our software (Vital Net), then reports the health status of our servers (hardware) back to us. Some of my work also included sql queries, stored procedures to backup the database on a periodic basis for disaster recovery in the emergency situation. I also supported the field engineers who implement & support our servers that were shipped to the clients. Traveled occasionally to client sites when issues could not be fixed over the remote connection.
