I developed new analytical tools for conducting wave-packet/Fourier analysis in multiple dimensions. I lectured courses to undergraduates in a variety of subjects: graph theory, combinatorics, calculus, linear algebra, and partial differential equations.

Since Dec 2015, I have done bioinformatics at the Department of Veterinary Medicine, specializing in the genomes of antibiotic resistant bacteria. This required working with vets, microbiologists, other bioinformaticians, and occasionally farmers. I am responsible for processing and analyzing the sequencing data produced by our group, which requires familiarity with a variety of computational tools (Python, shell scripting, myriad bioinformatics programs) and regular use of the university's High Performance Computing Cluster. Prior to that, I worked in the Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics, where I applied tools from Fourier analysis to study number theory and combinatorics. I also lectured courses on research specialties to graduate students .

I conducted computational and theoretical analysis of a mathematical model for nerve impulse transmission in myelinated axons.

I used tools from probability to solve various problems in two-dimensional fractal geometry.
