Michael A. Correra has owned Michael-Towne Wines & Spirits, located in Brooklyn Heights, New York since 1995. His establishment, originally licensed in 1934, is one of the original licenses issued following the end of Prohibition. Michael is a third-generation in the business, following the legacy of his grandfather, father, and uncle. He has also served as Executive Director of the Metropolitan Package Store Association (“Metro”) since 2008. Founded in 1934, Metro is the premier trade association representing the political and business interests of independently owned wine and liquor retailers across New York State.
