Marie Gabrielle Prado, MSc

Hey there! I'm Abby and I love making sense of the world around me and discovering the meaningful and the overlooked. I'm a detail-oriented Management graduate with 10+ years of exposure and 5+ years of experience in business, service, and leadership, with a passion to get the job done through concrete plans and initiatives and a love for finance, marketing, data, sustainability, and innovation. Although these fields vary, I believe that the intersectionality of areas will push us to building a more sustainable, insightful and empathetic society. In a way, my peers and colleagues would consider me as a generalist in various fields allowing me to be adaptable and flexible to different perspectives and skills, which are also backed up by the wide range of experiences I've had thus far, especially in the field of business. Right now, I'm currently taking up my Master's in Financial Engineering while also taking other courses and certifications focused on finance, marketing, data, tech, and sustainability. I’m also learning new languages like Spanish, French, and Japanese while honing my skills on Python, HTML, and CSS among others. On the side, I also do freelance and pro bono work, consulting, talks, and workshops on things I'm passionate about and I continue to look for opportunities to hone my skills further while gaining more experience in these fields, especially for startups, MSMEs, and VCs. But regardless of what field you are in, or what specialty you have, I'm definitely hoping we can connect and talk soon!
