Studied techniques of mass timber construction for larger buildings. Traveled to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Pacific NW interviewing architects, engineers, researchers, and other stakeholders about the benefits and challenges of mass timber construction systems in Europe, North America, and beyond. Teach three weekly undergraduate discussion sections for the Human Context of Design course. Grading and other course support under Professors Jenny Young and Mark Gillem.

Worked as a member of a team that included two fellow University of Oregon architecture students and an architecture professor to develop ideas for improving the University's architecture and Planning, Public Policy, and Management (PPPM) facilities. The team met weekly to brainstorm and provide feedback on individual student work. Produced images of a desired remodel of Hendrick's Hall on the University of Oregon's campus, transforming a space currently filled with small offices into a new space containing a large classroom, a small classroom, and administrative offices, with the restoration of a historic entry.

* Assisted the professor in the Color Theory course. * Taught lab sessions for undergraduate students, reviewing work, clarifying concepts, and leading discussions. * Graded color exercises with the lead professor.

6-month intern with an interior architecture focus. Working on both interior architecture and architecture projects.

Worked as Jan Crawford's (now with CBS news) summer intern, supporting producers and correspondents, compiling correspondent contact lists of political analysts, and working on an article about social networking lawsuits.

* Process and update images and maps created during master planning projects. * Help draft and edit Area Development Plan, Area Development Execution Plan, Sustainability Component Plan, and other master planning reports. * Create renderings using Revit and Photoshop.

The work has been submitted for peer review, titled "Intergenerational Transmission of Maternal Behavior in Rhesus Macaques: A Preliminary Test of the Genetic Plasticity Hypothesis," by Erin L. Kinnally, Molly Taylor, Michael Pluess, and Jay Belsky.

Set-up and take-down of Riverdog's stand at the Berkeley Farmers' Market, computing cash transactions mentally, helping customers select quality produce, other customer service.

Wrote and compiled Enews, updated the regional website, assisted in grant reporting, provided California member support, aided in event planning and event support, provided miscellaneous program support.

With three co-leaders, assisted leading a group of 18 DC-area high school students in a summer Spanish language immersion and service-learning program.
